Help Desk Analyst

Our Helpdesk team is responsible for ensuring that everyone at Aires receives technical support through outstanding customer service, in-depth problem solving, and timeliness. To be successful, this person must show initiative, be motivated by technology and customer service, and have great attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be well-organized, proactive, and process-oriented, with a keen attention to detail and an exceptional ability to multitask and prioritize work. They will be able to collaborate both within the help desk team and other IT/OPS teams to solve problems, strengthen their skillset and knowledge base. They will have sound judgment, good written and verbal communication skills, and impressive customer service skills.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, software, and hardware & mobile devices - both on-site and remotely
  • Respond to queries either in person, email, Skype/Zoom, or over the phone
  • Take ownership of computer related issues and communicate resolution with the user
  • Assist and provide instruction on the basics of best practices for the user community
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems
  • Image operating systems on company assets and help maintain multiple images
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems and clean computers
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems
  • Install computer peripherals for users and assist with usage
  • Assist and provide instructions on the usage of the company’s telephone system
  • Provide first level support to the company’s printer systems and escalate any larger issues to the leasing company
  • Ensure asset inventory is maintained, updated, and documented at each office location
  • Order inventory and maintain purchase orders until completion
  • Provide second-level 24X7 on-call support within the team's rotation


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.  Associates Degree, or equivalent professional experience required
  • 1- 2 years of personal computing break/fix experience
  • Certifications preferred: A+, Network+, MSCE, etc.

 Additional Qualifications:

  • Active Directory administration and support, Citrix, ThinClient, and Office 365
  • Asset management tools like Addigy, Labtech, Snipe-IT or similar
  • Network troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, wireless), DNS, DHCP, VPN
  • Backup and desktop encryption software (McAfee, Bitlocker)
  • Knowledge of AV equipment (Skype for , Zoom, RingCentral)
  • Mobile Device management, MFA experience
  • Familiar with Collaboration Tools (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Operating system imaging and maintenance
  • Microsoft Powershell
