Director, International Compensation and Tax

Due to significant growth in our Compensation Administration team, an excellent career opportunity is currently available at Aires for a Director, International Compensation and Tax located in our corporate office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You will utilize your experience working with expats and corporate customers to support all aspects of their international assignments. You will lead the strategic development of the team, manage new technology design and implementations and be responsible for supporting our clients’ home and host compliance/reporting obligations, and support our clients and their employees with their global tax, assignment management and data reporting requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops, motivates, and supports a team that is growing.
  • Assesses strategic and tactical needs and develops solutions to support those needs
  • Contributes to development of service delivery tools
  • Actively solves problems/provides solutions on operational areas for improvement
  • Oversees new and existing client implementations
  • Participates in industry and company events, sales presentations, and trade shows
  • Ensures the client team produces quality deliverables and meets objectives
  • Coaches staff, creates compelling development plans, and manages growth.
  • Assesses, manages, and improves controls related to reporting completeness and accuracy

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance and a combination of the following:
  • 4-5 years of customer service and management experience
  • 5-15 years of experience in expatriate tax, global personal income tax compliance and consulting, rewards, transactions, and mobility consulting
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 15%

Additional Qualifications (preferred but not required):

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
