Helpdesk Analyst 1

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware & mobile devices
  • Respond to queries either in person, via email or over the phone
  • Take ownership of computer related issues and communicate resolution with the user
  • Write training manuals and train users
  • Assist and provide instruction on the basics of best practices for the user community
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem & walk customer through problem-solving process
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems and clean computers
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems
  • Install computer peripherals for users
  • Assist and provide instructions on the usage of the company’s telephone system
  • Provide first level support to the company’s printer systems and escalate any larger issues to the leasing company


  • Associates Degree, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 2 years of personal computing break/fix experience

 Additional Qualifications: 

  • A+ preferred
  • Computer related hardware, software & troubleshooting techniques.
  • Operating Systems such as Windows XP, 7, 8, 10.
  • Microsoft Office Suites. (2010, 2013)
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
