In an effort to further spur our growth, we are currently seeking a Data Security Analyst to join our team!
The qualified individual will primarily be involved with security operations, vulnerability and risk management and auditing. Analyst will be responsible for monitoring compliance and maintaining awareness of state, federal and company established Information Security regulations/policies by working with internal representatives to identify and resolve areas on non-compliance. Also, will continuously monitor the Security Compliance Program; providing recommendations of controls on remediation efforts and assessments of new and existing systems and applications to ensure Security Compliance.
Provide first level response for security events
Install and manage the enterprise intrusion detection system
Respond to privileged account misuse, data protection violations and network breaches.
Coordinate the enterprise event management including triage, correlation and enrichment of individual events to either rule out as false positive, trigger standard detective and corrective responses, or escalating as a security incident.
Augment security operations and monitoring
Create and maintain system documentation for security event processing
Expand the usage of security monitoring tools to improve the security of the environment
Develop reporting and metrics around security monitoring
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field, preferred
A minimum of 3 years experience preferred or a combination of education and experience
Preferred Security Certifications such as CISSP, Security+
Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, PCI and other regulations is a plus
Previous experience in the following: Networking,Systems Hardening, Vulnerability Scanning, Penetration Testing, Incident Response, SIEM, Intrusion Detection, Data Loss Prevention and Policies and Procedures
Knowledge of data security and access control systems, encryption and related matters
Experience with network security scanning tools
Schedule and apply standard security configurations and patches, and any other measures required in the event of security deficiency
